We’ve got some exciting news to share with you all. We have officially moved into our first-ever dedicated office space in Preston! Located at the Preston Technology Centre on Marsh Lane, our new 300 sq/ft office opened in early March, and we couldn’t be happier.
We chose Preston for our new office due to its central location, excellent transport links, and proximity to many of our existing clients. Plus, our founder and Managing Director, Stephen, grew up in Preston and attended both college and university here, so it just felt like the perfect fit.
The new office is more than just a workspace; it’s a place where clients and friends of Quicklaunch can come together for meetings or even share desk space for a bit. It’s a collaborative environment that we hope will foster even more growth and innovation for us and our clients.
At the moment, there’s one full-time and one part-time employee based in the office, but we have plans to work with local universities and colleges to bring in interns and apprentices. Our long-term vision is to employ even more people full-time in the future.
Stephen shared his thoughts on the new office, saying,
“I’ll be honest, I found the prospect of getting our first office quite daunting, but thankfully we have built up an amazing network of clients, suppliers, and business contacts all of whom were amazing and very helpful. We even have some clients offering to come in and help us paint – which was fantastic. We’re so excited to finally be opening our first office in Preston. Having grown up in Preston and gone to college and University in Preston, it felt like there was only ever going to be one place for the first office and it’s been fantastic to have already had both clients and suppliers visit and talk about our work together. I’m excited to grow and get more people in here!”
